Toucan Class Half-Term Round Up 🌟

What a fantastic half term we have had in Toucan class. The children have settled into Year 2 really well and should be really proud of how they have embraced their new learning and routines. 

We have enjoyed lots of exciting experiences together such as stepping back in time during our trip to Kent life, as well as getting creative making our own material monsters. In PE, the children have shown some lovely teamwork and a range of different skills. Toucan class showed enthusiasm and a real love of learning during Maths week where they took part in a range of different practical activities including making a city out of their 3D shapes and they really enjoyed becoming Rockstars for the day! 🎸👑

A special highlight was our Victorian Parent Activity Afternoon, where the children had lots of fun sharing their learning with their adults and taking part in a range of different Victorian activities. 

I am so proud of the children’s hard work, creativity and the confidence they have shown this half term. Well done Toucans - you have all made a fantastic start to Year 2 ⭐️💫
