Finding 1, 2 and 3 with The Gruffalo! 🌳🦊

 This week in Puffin Class, we have been having lots of fun exploring numbers 1, 2 and 3 with some very special woodland friends from The Gruffalo! 🐭🦊🦉🐍

The children enjoyed helping the Gruffalo characters by giving them their favourite woodland treats. We counted carefully as we gave each character 1, 2 or 3 treats, developing our number recognition and counting skills along the way.

We practised counting objects one at a time, matching quantities to numerals and checking that we had the correct number of treats. The children were fantastic at remembering to count slowly and carefully!

Our Gruffalo-themed activities made learning about numbers fun, engaging and meaningful. We loved seeing the children's excitement as they explored the woodland world and helped their favourite characters. 🌿🍄
