Toucans Take A Trip Back In Time 🏫

Toucan class had a fantastic day out at Kent life on Tuesday, stepping back in time to discover what life was like for a Victorian child!

First, they experienced a Victorian classroom where they were sat at wooden desks and wrote on a blackboard using chalk. The children were very enthusiastic and asked the Victorian teacher some really thoughtful questions.

 We also explored Victorian shops and chapels and the children enjoyed seeing how different life was like compared to today. After lunch, the excitement continued with a fun tractor ride, where the children enjoyed exploring and seeing lots of different animals on the way 🐇🦋🦆

The children were so well behaved and I was so proud of how well they represented Towers! It was also really good to see how much more engaged they were doing our Victorians Topic lesson on Wednesday, after experiencing a day in the life of a Victorian!
