3B - Building 3D Shapes with Matchsticks and Pipe Cleaners!
This week, for maths week 3B built 3D shapes!
To better understand 3D shapes, we constructed our own "skeleton" models using matchsticks or pipe cleaners as the straight edges and blobs of playdough to connect them at the vertices.
Building these physical structures gave everyone a much clearer picture of how 3D shapes come together.
