A week in Wagtails

What a hot week it has been for the Wagtails, but that certainly didn't stop us from having lots of fun and learning along the way!

This week, we explored money by creating our very own shops. The children loved taking on the roles of shopkeepers and customers, practising buying and selling items, paying with the correct amounts, and working out the correct change.

As part of our learning about marine biologists, we created beautiful under-the-sea silhouette pictures, using our creativity to represent the fascinating world beneath the waves.

We also made the most of the warm weather by enjoying a story together outside under the shade of the willow trees—a lovely, peaceful way to spend some time together.

To round off the week, the children took part in an exciting ice pole challenge. How long did it take for yours to freeze?

We hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and enjoys keeping cool in the sunshine!
