5RD Story Maps

 Today, 5RD began exploring our new class text, Oranges in No Man’s Land. We read and discussed the dramatic and emotional first chapter, considering the challenges and feelings experienced by the characters.

To deepen their understanding, the children created fantastic story maps to summarise the key events from Chapter 1. Their maps captured important moments from the story and demonstrated thoughtful engagement with the text. We were impressed by their creativity, attention to detail, and understanding of the chapter’s themes and emotions.
