Wiggly Wild Wagtails 🐌πŸͺ³πŸ¦‚πŸ•Έ️

Wagtail Class had a fantastic time taking part in the exciting Wiggly Wild Show! The children were incredibly brave, curious and enthusiastic as they met and learned about a variety of amazing minibeasts and creatures.

During the session, we explored lots of fascinating animals including toads, bearded dragons, giant snails, cockroaches and stick insects. The children listened carefully to interesting facts about each creature, discovering where they live, what they eat and how they survive in the wild.

There were plenty of smiles as the children had the opportunity to carefully touch and hold some of the animals. Many of the children were especially amazed by the giant snails and how slowly they moved, while others loved watching the stick insects camouflage themselves so cleverly.

The visit encouraged lots of thoughtful questions and helped the children build confidence while learning more about the natural world. It was wonderful to see everyone showing such kindness and respect towards the animals.

Well done, Wagtail Class, for being such enthusiastic young explorers! What a memorable and wiggly adventure!
