Fractions in Wagtail class

 In Maths this week, Wagtail Class have continued to explore fractions by using practical resources such as counters and gems to find half of a quantity. The children worked collaboratively with a partner to equally share groups of objects between two people, helping them to understand that finding half means splitting a quantity into two equal parts. They confidently explored multiples of 2 and used their counting skills to check that each group was shared fairly and equally.
