3B Fortress Fun
This week, we spent our Tuesday afternoon carefully building our own castles. Working in our table groups, 3B displayed incredible unity and determination. It wasn’t just about stacking boxes; it was about honouring a shared vision. Each group started with a collaborative plan, and seeing them stick to those blueprints while navigating the complexities of construction was truly impressive.
Our young architects learned the vital skill of compromise in two major ways:
Collaborative Ideas: Students blended their individual visions, merging different tower designs and gatehouse concepts into one cohesive structure.
Resourcefulness: Using only kindly-donated cardboard and spare materials, the teams had to adapt their grand designs to fit the "quarry" of resources available. If they didn’t have the perfect cylinder for a turret, they engineered a new solution!
