4H’s trip to the Upminster Windmill 🤩

4H had a fantastic day out at Upminster Windmill, where they enjoyed a guided tour exploring the unique functions of every floor of the windmill. History came to life through role-play as the children stepped into the shoes of the Abraham family to learn about their daily lives and jobs, followed by a quiet session of observational drawing to capture the mill's impressive structure. We finished the trip with a lovely picnic in the sun before heading back to school, a perfect blend of local history, creativity, and fresh air!
